Advanced Cardiac Pathology & Case Review
Provides basic knowledge and echocardiographic assessment of major cardiac pathophysiology including infiltrative heart disease, cardiac tumors and masses, pericardial disease, cardiac diseases related to systemic illness, sonographers role in invasive and non-invasive procedures and begin to explore new and emerging technologies and opportunities in the field of echocardiography. Lab demonstration and case review included. (Prerequisites: 10-526-252, Adult Echocardiography)
Advanced Circuits
Solve advanced series-parallel circuits utilizing Thevenin's and Norton's Theorems, nodal analysis, superposition, complex number-based, and other circuit analysis techniques. Also includes Ideal op-amp, three-phase circuits, circuit models of sensors and actuators, laboratory, simulation, and documentation. (Prerequisite: 10-660-109, AC 3: RLC Circuits)
Advanced Hematology
Explores mechanisms involved in the development of hematological disorders. Emphasis is placed upon laboratory techniques used to diagnose disorders and monitor treatment. (Prerequisite: 10-513-120, Basic Hematology)
Advanced Molding Processes
Focuses on multi-sided RTV & fiberglass reinforced tooling used in the creation of detailed replicas with advanced use of resins, rotational casting, and urethane foams. (Prerequisite: 10-614-156 Intro Molding Process/Techniques)
Advanced Utility Equipment
Equipment operation standards for the safe use of industry specific equipment. In depth study into Hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment safe practices and operation. Introduction in proper rigging and shoring practices with a focus on safety standards throughout the industry. (Pre-Requisite: 314-469-311, Gas Utility Field Training 1)
Advanced Vehicle Manufacture Technology
Diagnose, service and repair intermittent drivability concerns, monitoring live PID data with scanner, graphing data with lab scope, fuel injection monitoring with scanner, graphing fuel injectors with lab scope, performing diagnostic snapshot/recordings of live vehicle data, and playing back the recorded data to isolate the concern. (Prerequisites: 10-602-113, Engine Performance 3; 10-602-128 Auto Electrical & Electronics Systems 3)
Advanced Web Front-End UI/UX
Use HTML and CSS to design websites. Create responsive grid designs. Integrate user interface (UI) components into the site layout. Explore design concepts used to support communication and user experience (UX) goals. (Prerequisite: 10-152-155, Intro to Web Front-End UI/UX)
Agribusiness Economics
Basic knowledge of macro and micro economics will be taught, proficiency in developing basic cash flows, cost benefit analysis, enterprise analysis, budget development, profit loss statements and developing cost of production. Student should be able to develop adequate information for farm manager to analyze business proposals.
Air Pollution Control Systems
Air quality problems, federal and state regulatory mechanisms, and the types of emission control technology currently available. Monitoring emissions and ambient air quality are addressed. (Prerequisite: 10-801-136, English Composition 1 with a "C" or better)
American Sign Language I
Relating to the deaf culture including non-manual grammatical markers, signing, fingerspelling, classifying and the technology related to deafness.
Anatomy/Struct-Funct
This course explores the 11 organ systems with an emphasis on important structures and their functions. (Prerequisite: 2.6 GPA OR Next Gen Reading score greater/equal to 250; OR ACT Reading score greater/equal to 15 OR 10-838-105, Intro to Reading and Study Skills OR equivalent).
Applied Botany
This course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the knowledge skills process and understanding of taxonomy, plant morphology, plant physiology, reproductive processes and environmental interactions.
