Accurate architectural drawings adhering to given standards that incorporate symbols, dimensions and notes will be created. (Prerequisite: Accepted in the Architectural Technology program)

Calc Physics 1 Enhancement

10-806-158 CALC PHYSICS 1 ENHANCEMENT ...mathematical enhancement transforming General Physics 1 (4 cr) into Calc-based Physics 1 (5 cr). Topics include deriving fundamental kinematic equations, time-and position-varying forces, impulse, work, rotational motion, moments of inertia, simple-harmonic motion, thermodynamics. (Prerequisite: A 4-credit, Algebra-based Physics course containing mechanics and Calculus 1 at your college. Please check with your primary college for more information.)

Calc Physics 2 Enhancement

10-806-168 CALC PHYSICS 2 ENHANCEMENT ...mathematical enhancement transforming General Physics 2 (4cr) into Calc-based Physics 2 (5cr). Topics include derivations of work, potential energy, field strength and capacitor charges in circuits, with emphasis on Gauss's and Ampere's Laws and Maxwell Equations. (Prerequisite: General Physics 2 (10806164) with "C" or better and Calculus 1 (10804198) with "C" or better.)

Apply the derivative and the integral to certain physical problems. Topics included in this course are integration methods and techniques including integration by parts and partial fractions, indeterminate forms, improper integrals. Topics also covered are infinite sequences and series including MacLaurin and Taylor Series and their convergence, LÆHopitalÆs Rule, applications of differentiation and integration, conic sections, parametric equations, polar coordinates along with vector operations in three dimensions. 10-526-272 CARDIOVASCULAR ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY... continues the study of the human heart in cross-sectional planes and as a three-dimensional anatomical structure with mechanical and hemodynamic characteristics. Learners will explore cardiac development and put into practice basic and advanced cardiovascular physiology concepts.
