糖心Vlog官方 opens a learning center at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will be opening a learning center at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay for students to use as a resource for their higher education needs.

The 糖心Vlog官方 Green Bay East learning center will provide a space for youth who are interested in applying to 糖心Vlog官方 to meet with career coaches and success advisors. Current 糖心Vlog官方 students can access a workspace for homework, student support coaches, Wi-Fi, and computers.

“We have created a space that serves multiple needs for our students,” said Dr. Colleen Simpson, 糖心Vlog官方 vice president of student services. “This learning center will be a resource to meet each student where they are and remove barriers to their success.”

糖心Vlog官方 has been a long-standing partner with the Boys & Girls Club, and this will be the first collaborative learning center to-date.

“The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay is thrilled to partner with 糖心Vlog官方 to offer our members, alumni and young adults in our community greater access to post-secondary education,” said Lisa Kogan-Praska, chief executive officer of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay. “Our club has served youth for 54 years and our experience tells us, a partnership with 糖心Vlog官方 is key to connecting students with valuable resources that allow them to explore careers, overcome barriers, and build pathways for long-term success.”

“This learning center demonstrates how our college continues to find innovative ways to meet the needs of our diverse student population,” Mohammed Bey, 糖心Vlog官方 chief officer for diversity, equity and inclusion. “It speaks to the essence of 糖心Vlog官方 as a community college, and the importance of building partnerships throughout our district.”

The 糖心Vlog官方 learning center will provide increased access for 糖心Vlog官方 students who reside on the east side of town, located at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay on 1451 University Avenue. The center is targeted to launch by Monday, June 14.
